The current carried James downstream today, saving him a precious 35 minutes over his typical swim time. Another reasonable night's sleep from a sub 14 hour day. That's 10 of the last 11 under 14:45, and the last 5 straight runs under 5:50 elapsed time.

All the bad luck James experienced in the Mountain West and Gulf states has turned around on the East Coast. It has not been easy, but there has not been the crazy challenges we saw over the first 19 days.

Normalized power is surprisingly good, in fact it continues to climb despite weak left/right balance. Also is likely linked to a drop in cadence, which was consistently at 77 and has dropped to 73 today. Two weeks ago I would have freaked out about the latter two numbers, now it's simply feedback without an expectation for correction. James is performing unconsciously now. Any feedback I give him on left/right or cadence or total seated time would be forgotten 30 minutes into the ride. This is survival mode.

James' marathon's continue to be amazing to me. He almost cracked under 5 hours moving time. I have provided him 0 feedback on the run/walk since Day 1, but he has found an outstanding method that seems to get faster every other day.
